As an occupational physician and epidemiologist, Michel Niezborala is both involved in the reality of business life and in teaching and research. He works on improving the quality of life at work and producing occupational health indicators. Since 2015, he is medical-technical coordinator at ASTIA.

In the FairHealth project, Michel Niezborala is working on building of cohort 2, notably by participating in the involvement of volunteer occupational physicians and nurses in Occitanie. He also provides training in the European SALTSA clinical examination protocol, which allows standardized early detection of MSDs of the upper limb.
